"The Complete Set" - Bundle
Three blades, each with its own role.
For the cook who takes real pride in their prep, the Complete Set brings together two blades from our Damascus range and our most nimble cleaver. Each has a clear job, so you’re never forcing one knife to do another’s work.
The Honshu Cleaver is the precision slicer. Lighter and slimmer than a traditional cleaver, it’s built for thin, even slices of meat and fish and neat portioning for the plate. Its 67-layer Damascus blade carries a pattern of fine, flowing lines, and the octagonal stabilised-wood handle adds a bold splash of colour.
The Kazeblade Chef’s Knife is the everyday workhorse. A gentle curve lets it rock smoothly through a cut, so dicing onions and capsicum or slicing chicken and steak feels effortless. Its 67-layer Damascus blade carries a rippling pattern inspired by the wind that gives it its name.
The Chisai Cleaver handles the detail. Compact and light, its curved edge rocks through herbs, garlic and small, precise cuts. It’s hand-forged from stainless steel.
Together they give you a precise, well-balanced kit for everyday cooking, and the Damascus blades make it a set worth displaying.
In the box: Honshu Cleaver, Kazeblade Chef’s Knife and Chisai Cleaver. The Chisai comes with its sheath; no other sheaths are included. Each Honshu handle is unique, and its colour may differ from the one pictured.

To keep your Takumi blade in top condition:
- Hand wash only. Use warm water and mild soap. Never put it in the dishwasher.
- Dry straight away. Even stainless steel can spot or rust if it’s left wet, so towel-dry the blade as soon as you’ve washed it.
- Care for the handle. Don’t soak the handle or leave it sitting in water, as moisture can damage wood and loosen fittings over time. Dry it along with the blade.
- Cut cleanly. Not designed for bone or frozen food. Avoid twisting or prying with the blade, which can chip the edge.
- Use the right board. Wood or plastic boards protect the edge; glass and stone dull it quickly.
- Store and sharpen. Keep it in a knife block, on a magnetic strip or in its sheath once fully dry, and sharpen on a whetstone for the best edge.
- Oil before storing. For longer storage, wipe on a light coat of camellia or food-grade mineral oil. Avoid cooking oils, which can turn sticky.
